On the 2nd of December our members were invited to a Christmas luncheon at the St Mary’s Band Club.
Of the 19 who attended it was lovely to see three mothers with their daughters and it was lovely to have Janet visit from Perth.
We had an area to ourselves up the back, which enabled us to move around and chat. The bistro had a wide variety of delicious and affordable options.
We had fun finding missing words for Christmas Carols, will have to study up on the 2nd and third verses for next year.
Then we ended the day choosing our Kris Kringle presents, with the theme this year being a gift of the value of $5 purchased from an op shop or a pre-loved gift.
We all went home, happy and blessed to have had a day of fellowship, and fun with our GFS Family.
