Covid-19

The Covid 19 virus has been declared an epidemic and world wide emergency.  If you are like us, you are probably trying to wrap your head around what this all means. Every day we turn on the news and we are inundated with more  changes and closures  with this virus.

As a consequence many planned events are being held via Zoom.  We also have board meetings, Prayer meetings and policy meetings planned. These are all taking place as online Zoom meetings.

It is quite an uncertain time for all of us at the moment and with church services moving to online and branches having to close for now.  May we keep our eyes focused on Jesus.   We are reminded that our Motto is “Bear one another’s  burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ” and if any of our member’s are doing it tough, are lonely, need a helping hand, need groceries, need someone to talk to. Please reach out and contact us or any member.

Prayer Meeting

Date: 13th day of every  month

Time: Varies depending on the host

Place: Currently during the lockdown from the pandemic our prayer meetings are online using zoom.

RSVP:  Contact us for meeting id and password details. Let us know you can join us by 10th of each month

Come and join in to pray together with us.

Jesus said many things about prayer, which we often don’t fully appreciate. One thing he spoke about is the nature, and implications, of “praying with other Christians”. Jesus said:
“Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:18-20
